Daniel Whittenburg is the Founder of Whittenburg Wealth Partners, a family-owned and operated financial and wealth preservation firm located in Salt Lake City, Utah. Dan and his team operate their practice with a serve first, serve last, serve always philosophy and value proposition. In essence, Dan’s team endeavors to create order out of chaos for his clients.
Dan has been an advisor for nearly 30 years, bringing a distinct combination of practicality and creativity to the strategies and techniques he customizes to help meet the needs of business owners, successful families and their ensuing generations. To Dan, financial and business success are only meaningful if they can be shared with those you value most. Through the firm’s motto of “powering financial ideals through generations”, he can uncover a realized and tangible value for his clients that combines thoughtful planning, realistic wealth management and diligent actions that can impact everything from wealth preservation to successful business exit strategies.
Dan holds a BS in Finance and an MBA from the University of Utah. Dan is a Certified Financial Planner™ Practitioner (CFP® ), an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF® ), and a Certified Business Exit Consultant (CBEC).
Dan and his wife Teri are Co-Founders and Trustees of the Whittenburg Foundation, a charitable organization that places special emphasis on the needs of at-risk women and children. They have two grown children who are both happily married and are proud grandparents to three grandchildren. Dan serves as the Treasurer of Young Presidents Organization Gold Utah Chapter. In his spare time Dan enjoys glass fusing, rocketry, vintage model boat building, golf and biking.
